Deadline for submission – Annually on September 15

The purpose of the Founders Award is to recognize significant leadership and contributions that have immediate or long-term impact on the growth and progress of the society. The twenty-seventh annual Founders Award was presented in October 2023 to Michéle Eaton, EA for her significant contributions to NYSSEA. The Founders Award is presented annually at the NYSSEA Conference.

The Awards Committee is seeking nominations for the current year.

Nominees must meet the following criteria:

Nominees must be current members in good standing.
Nominees should be someone who contributed significantly to the development and growth of NYSSEA.
All Nominees must have been a member of NYSSEA for at least five years.
The Nominees must have attended at least five NYSSEA Annual Conferences.
All Nominees are for the current year only.
